Housing Ministry announces delivery of first units of Al Naseem project in Salman City

Manama, Sep. 25 (BNA): The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning announced the delivery of the first batch of the Al Naseem project in Salman City, executed in partnership with Delmon Gate, to citizens benefiting from housing finance options. The project is being implemented under the Government Land Development Rights Programme.

Amna bit Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, and Abdullah Ali, Chief Executive of Delmon Gate, handed over keys to citizens receiving units in the first phase, following the completion of construction and infrastructure works. The remaining units will be delivered progressively according to the approved schedule.

Minister Al Rumaihi emphasised that, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Bahrain remains committed to implementing housing projects that meet citizens’ needs and strengthen public-private sector partnerships.

She noted that the Al Naseem project represents a significant housing milestone within the framework of such partnerships, being the second completed project after the Suhail Housing Project in Al Lawzi, Northern Governorate. She highlighted that the project was also part of the pilot phase of the “Off-plan Sales” scheme, launched during the Social Housing Innovation Conference and Exhibition in April, which witnessed strong demand, with all units booked within just four days of release.

The minister commended Delmon Gate for adhering to the agreed timeline and specifications, reflecting confidence in government-private sector collaboration to accelerate the delivery of sustainable housing services. She congratulated the beneficiaries and wished them a blessed new home, reiterating the ministry’s commitment to further housing projects.

For his part, Abdullah Ali expressed pride in this milestone, emphasising that the handover of the first batch of units in the Al Naseem project marks an important step in the company’s cooperation with the Ministry. He confirmed the company’s adherence to the highest technical and engineering standards and praised the Government Land Development Rights Programme.

He outlined the components of the project, which consists of 131 housing units in Salman City, covering a total site area of 23,000 square metres. The units range between 171 and 190 square metres, with a built-up area of 265 square metres per unit. The project also features a coastal location with convenient access.
